Tullamore
Tullamore is a rural town located in the central west of New South Wales. Tullamore is situated on the Bogan Way, an alternate north south route to the Newell Highway. Tullamore is centrally located to the larger towns of Parkes, Forbes, Condobolin and Narromine.

With a population of approximately 600-700 people, including the township and surrounding farms, there is a strong sense of community and mateship.

Tullamore is the proud home for one of our Parkes Shire Councillors, Mrs. Barbara Newton. Barbara represents the needs of the Tullamore community at local council. If you have any questions about Parkes Shire events, you can contact Barbara on (02) 6892 5302.

Industry
Agriculture, including farming and grazing, is the basis of the Tullamore economy and the resultant interdependence of the community. Cereal grains such as wheat, barley and oats, oilseeds and winter legumes are grown annually, bringing the town alive during November/December for harvest. Many properties also breed sheep, cattle and pigs for local and export meat production. Sheep are also bred for wool production.
