Stalls and Temporary Trading Approvals

Got a good idea for your business or event? Talk to Council.

Parkes Shire Council aims to create and maintain a vibrant, friendly and viable town centre, by ensuring temporary trading and structures compliment and enhance its streetscape and commercial use.

Anyone who wishes to operate a market stall or temporary structure (such as marquees, staging etc) within the Parkes Shire must seek approval from Council.

To apply for approval, download and complete a Temporary Trading application and return to Council.

For details on fees and charges in relation to temporary trading, see the Fees and Charges page.

For more information contact Council's Planning and Environment Department on 02 6861 2373.
