Public signage is controlled by Council through its Local Environment Plan.
Public signage relates to any sign, notice, device, representation or advertisement that advertises or promotes goods, services or events. It also applies to any structure or vessel that is principally designed for advertising, building or business identification.
Public signage, whether it is on private property or public land, requires consent in regards to content and construction.
