Applications from suitably qualified applicants will be received by the undersigned up until 10.00am Monday 13 October 2008 for the position of Casual Pool Attendant at the Parkes Pool for the 2008/09 pool season. Works Engineer/Manager Re-Advertised - Published: 01 Oct 2008
An opportunity exists to work in the Central West of New South Wales for a fast growing and progressive Local Government Area by becoming the Works Engineer or Works Manager with Parkes Shire Council. This middle management level position will manage Council's operational works teams involved in roads, drainage, parks & gardens and mechanical services and provide strategic advice on maintenance and renewal of Council's assets. The shires economy is underpinned by mining, transport, tourism, agriculture and Government services and has an exciting future as an important inland hub for the national transport network.
