Biography

Cr Newton is married to Rick (Rural GP).

They have two adult children and one grandson and lived in Sydney until their move to Tullamore in 1998.

Cr Newton previously worked as a registered nurse, nurse educator and Director of Nursing in Aged Care.

Cr Newton has also been a professional singer, working in the Australian Opera.

Cr Newton is enjoying the challenges and diversity of being a Shire Councillor with an interest in representing the Villages as well as the development of the Shire as a whole.
