Stormwater Management

Parkes Shire Council has undertaken a programme to improve the quality of stormwater runoff from the Parkes urban area. The driving force behind this programme has been the Parkes Urban Stormwater Management Plan. The development of this Plan highlighted a number of stormwater issues affecting stormwater quality. Appropriate management options to address these issues were developed along with an implementation plan, which prioritised various actions. more ..
