NSW Golf Association Country Visit & 'Road Show'

Parkes Golf Club is one of four Country Golf Clubs that will host 'Road Shows' conducted by the NSW Golf Association during 2009.

The Road Show will target Club Directors and Senior Staff throughout the state, but any interested golfer is welcome to attend.

The purpose of these visits is to learn more about the real issues that are affecting clubs in the country and how the organisation can better assist where appropriate. It is also to provide both relevant educational opportunities for Club Directors and staff as well as being able to explain and demonstrate exactly how and what the Association does for the golfing community. The organisation will also invest PR time with those who take time out to attend the event where discussions can be had on any aspect of golf that they may be interested in.

The visit will involve a board of directors meeting on Tuesday, Road Show meetings and discussions on Wednesday, followed by a visit to Bogan Gate and Condobolin Golf Clubs on Thursday. Also on Wednesday, a Club Level Rules presentation and discussion will take place with a game of golf at the Parkes Golf Club to round off the day.
