We like to keep you informed in a number of ways.
Parkes Shire Council places a high priority on engaging with the community and keeping residents informed by delivering regular, integrated communications across multiple platforms.
Council issues a quarterly progress newsletter to ratepayers to keep them abreast of major project works and programs. The progress newsletter is distributed with the rates notice direct to the property owners. Copies are also available from Council's administration office in Cecile Street.
A community information hub has been activated in the main street of Parkes with display fixtures installed on the facade of the building to allow the community to collect and view current project information, news and events.
The Parkes Visitor Information also regularly distributes a What's On newsletter outlining upcoming events and exhibitions. To receive the What's On newsletter, register through the www.visitparkes.com.au website or contact the Parkes Visitor Information Centre on 02 6862 6000.
