In conjunction with the Parkes Main Street Revitalisation project, a new $4.2 million Multipurpose Centre will be constructed in Cooke Park that will put Parkes on the map as a destination for tourism and business events.
The new facility will include an events stage, multipurpose room (80 seat capacity) behind the stage with kitchen facilities, flexi-room, store room, and male, female and accessible toilets.
The project is proudly co-funded by the Australian Government through the Building Better Regions Fund and Parkes Shire Council.
Works schedule is subject to change. The community and affected businesses will be advised of any changes in advance by way of public notice, and signage where necessary.
