At its Ordinary Meeting held Tuesday, 19 April 2022, Parkes Shire Council resolved to provide financial assistance by way of donations, contributions and in-kind assistance to various organisations.

Pursuant to section 356 of the Local Government Act 1993, notice is hereby given of the following proposed financial assistance:

  • Parkes Coradgery & Diggers Amateur Race Club Inc. - $5,000.00
  • Parkes Showground Land Manager - $13,000
  • Tullamore Inc. - $3,900.00

Written submissions on the proposed financial assistance are invited from the public until close of business on Tuesday, 17 May 2022.  Submissions must be addressed to the General Manager and be received before the expiry of the exhibition period.

The lodging of a submission is voluntary and may be made available to third parties in accordance with the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009.
