Under the Integrated Planning and Reporting framework provisions of the Local Government Act 1993, Parkes Shire Council must develop and adopt a Delivery Program detailing the principal activities to be undertaken over the current Council term to perform its functions, including implementing the strategies set out in the Community Strategic Plan, within the limits of the resources available under the Resourcing Strategy.

The Delivery Program is a four-year program and outlines the principal activities Council will deliver, or advocate for, to achieve the objectives outlined in the Community Strategic Plan. All plans, projects, activities, and funding allocations made by Council over its term must be directly linked to the Delivery Program and support the Community Strategic Plan.

On Tuesday 19 April 2022, Council endorsed the draft Parkes Shire 2035+ Delivery Program 2022/23 -2024/25 for public exhibition. We are now inviting the community to provide feedback on the draft Parkes Shire 2035+ Delivery Program 2022/23 - 2024/25.

To have your say, please review the Draft Parkes Shire 2035+ Delivery Program 2022/23 - 2024/25 and share any comments you have via Council's Your Say Parkes engagement platform.

Alternatively, you can send your comments via email to council@parkes.nsw.gov.au, or by mail to:

The General Manager, Parkes Shire Council PO Box 337 Parkes NSW 2870.

The public exhibition period will conclude close of business Friday 20 May 2022.

Council welcomes and encourages your feedback.
