Join with Jo Laurie weekly in the Marramarra Makerspace to discover how regular creative journaling can boost your wellness and wellbeing!
This style of journaling is centred around the creative flow – of words, pictures, symbols, mark making, collage, stencilling, finger painting or scribbling. You will learn fun and tangible ways to release anxiety, reduce the ‘mind chatter’, express yourself freely, or to put the overwhelm, negativity, or sadness in another place – your own personal Journal. These journals are like a secret best friend to share and problem solve with. They are not at all like the scary blank white paged journals that sit in the draw for fear of writing crooked or trying for a “perfect” look! These journals are for getting messy and finding our flow to expressing ourselves freely without judgement or criticism.
Each weekly session will also include a Sharing Circle for connection and calming meditation.
Ages 16+, All welcome
