To minimise movement to and protect regional communities ALL of Regional NSW will go into a lockdown from 5pm on Saturday 14 August 2021 for seven days.
In response to this lockdown, Parkes Shire Council will be implementing a number of precautionary measures guided by our COVID-19 response plan.

|Waste Facilities||Restricted||All regular kerbside waste collection will continue as usual. General public: No member of the public with a kerbside bin collection service should be visiting a recycling or waste management facility as it is not one of the essential reasons for leaving your home. Waste contractors: Waste collections from health and medical, aged care, hotel, commercial and industrial premises can also continue to be brought to Council’s waste facilities|
