Parkes Shire Council is calling on not-for-profit organisations and groups serving the Parkes Shire community to apply for funding in Round 1 of the 2021/22 Community Financial Assistance program.

Application forms can be downloaded below or collected from the Council's Administration Centre at 2 Cecile Street Parkes.

Applications will close 5.00pm on Tuesday 31 August 2021.

All applications will then be reviewed by an Evaluation Panel and recommendations tabled at Council's September meeting. Successful and unsuccessful applications will be advised as soon as possible after that meeting.

There are two streams of assistance.

+ One is for assistance with Rates and/or Charges for community groups or organisations who own their properties within the Parkes Shire.

+ The other stream is for financial assistance up to the amount of $1,000 for a specific project in accordance with Council's Community Financial Assistance Policy.
