Parkes Shire Council presents: The 'Kate Kelly Collection'

This collection is a series of narrative paintings and story cards by artist and author Rebecca Wilson based on years of research and investigation into the life of Kate Kelly, Ned Kelly's little sister.

Manager Cultural, Education & Library Services, Kerryn Jones said "This astonishing story tells of Kate’s life riding as a messenger and decoy for the Kelly gang, her experience of the Glenrowan siege and how she popularised the story of her brother Ned. Kate became quite a celebrity until she vanished. Rebecca uncovers the story of this amazing woman’s life, 14 years of which she lived in Forbes."
