Bumberry Dam
An ideal setting for swimming, bushwalking, bird watching and picnicking.
Bumberry Dam provides an idyllic spot for passive recreational activities including camping, fishing, canoeing and swimming. With water overflowing from Lake Endeavour into Billabong Creek then downstream to Bumberry Dam, you should expect to see an abundance of native plant growth over the spring months. Good rainfall is likely to trigger spectacular wildflower displays over the spring and summer period providing an ideal setting for bushwalking, bird watching and picnicking.
To access Bumberry Dam, head out on the Orange Road and turn left onto Bindogundra Road, which is the dirt road opposite the 100 year old Bindogundra church approximately 13km East of Parkes, then a further 7.5km to Bumberry Dam.
