The Trundle Skate Park is one of eight Parkes Shire projects that has been successful in the third round of the NSW Government’s Stronger Country Communities Fund (SCCF).

This project will construct stage 1 of the Trundle township skate park - professionally designed to deliver what the youth community wants and will use.

Now a recognised Olympic sport, this freely available year-round facility will be a major win for the local youth, giving them an active lifestyle choice activity. The Trundle community have identified this as it's number one priority for the community.

The $400 million Stronger Country Communities Fund is part of the NSW Government’s $1.7 billion Regional Growth Fund, which is being invested in local programs and infrastructure that improve the lives of people living in regional NSW.
