Council wishes to advise that the Northern end of the laneway between Cecile Street and Grenfell Street, that runs behind the QuickShine Carwash. Parkes will be closed to complete footpath construction works.
Works will be undertaken from Tuesday 28 March 2023 to Wednesday 5 April 2023 between 7:00am to 5:00pm, weather permitting.
The works have been scheduled in such a way that vehicular access to properties will be maintained at all times, but pedestrian access on the footpath will be affected during the construction period and alternate routes will need to be used. Local access to the laneway will be maintained from Grenfell Street.
Residents and businesses are requested to exercise caution at all times when around the work area and to follow the instructions of staff onsite.
