Library Exhibitions
Celebrating the people, culture, history and creativity of the local area, Parkes Library and Cultural Centre is a cultural hub for events, exhibitions and education for community members of all ages and visitors to the shire. The Coventry Room Gallery was refurbished in 2020 as a flexible arts and cultural event space to accommodate a diverse range of local and touring exhibitions. Many of the exhibitions showcase the work of local artists and creators including contemporary visual arts and crafts, photography, local cultural history, and large community exhibitions encouraging sustainable art practices such as the Cardboard Show and our annual Waste 2 Art exhibition.
