Council Announces Funding Recipients for 2026 Grants Program

Parkes Shire Council is excited to announce the recipients of Round 1 of the Events Financial Assistance Program (EFAP) for 2026. The round was popular with seven applicants requesting over $45,000 in support. Council has allocated $39,250 in funding to various community events throughout the shire.

Parkes Shire Council has resolved to prohibit dogs from Harrison Park, Woodward Oval and Keast Park following a six week community consultation and ongoing concerns raised by sporting user groups regarding dog waste on playing surfaces.

Funding Success Paves the Way for Harrowvale Development

Parkes Shire Council advises residents that Interflow Pty Ltd will be undertaking sewer maintenance and rehabilitation works on Council's behalf as part of routine sewer network maintenance.
