Council would like to advise of the temporary road and footpath closure at East Street between May and Woodward Street, Parkes.
The closure will be required to facilitate the safe and expedited completion of the East Street Bridge Project, including road resurfacing within the rail corridor on East Street and associated footpath construction works.
The closure will be in effect from Tuesday 27 August to Thursday 29 August 2024, weather permitting.
During this time detours will be in place and residents and business owners are requested to exercise caution when in the vicinity of the work area. Please adhere to the instructions provided by the Traffic Control personnel on site.
