Draft Delivery Program

Parkes Shire Council is excited to announce that the Draft Delivery Plan(PDF, 4MB) 2025/26 - 2028/29(PDF, 4MB) is now on public exhibition. Council invites community members to review the Plan and provide their valuable feedback. 

The Delivery program is a four-year plan that turns the strategic goals found in the Community Strategic Plan into actions. It is the point where Council makes a commitment to the Community Strategic Plan, and act upon those issues that are within its area of responsibility.

The Delivery Program is the key ‘go to’ document for Councillors. It identifies all of the key activities the Council has committed to undertake over its four-year term. All plans, projects, activities and funding allocations of the Council are directly linked to the Delivery Program.

The Delivery Program is also supported by the Resourcing Strategy. The Delivery Program is reviewed every year as the Council prepares the next Operational Plan. If any significant amendments are proposed to the Delivery Program, Council will re-exhibit it, explaining the proposed changes and inviting community comment.

We invite you to review the Delivery Program and provide your feedback during the 28-day public exhibition period. Your input is valuable in helping us shape the future our community aspires to.

Public Exhibition Period: Wednesday 7th May 2025 - Tuesday 3rd June 2025

There are two ways to submit your feedback

When providing feedback, you should indicate if you support the plan and include any suggestions you may have. 

Community members are encouraged to submit their feedback by 5pm Tuesday 3 June 2025.

All feedback received during the exhibition period will be reviewed and presented to Council for consideration before the Strategy is formally adopted.
