Notice is hereby given that the Draft Cookamidgera Flood Risk Management Study and Plan will be on public exhibition from Tuesday 29th July 2025 until 5pm Monday 25th August 2025.
The Draft Cookamidgera Flood Risk Management Study and Plan objective is to assess the impacts of flooding, review existing Council policies as they relate to development of land in flood liable areas, consider measures for the management of flood affected land and to develop the Cookamidgera Flood Risk Management Plan.
Any person may make a submission relating to Draft Cookamidgera Flood Risk Management Study and Plan during the exhibition period.
Council staff will be at the Cookamidgera Hall on the evening of Tuesday 12th August from 5.30pm till 7.30pm.
All feedback to be in writing using the form attached, given in person at Council's Administration Centre or mailed to The General Manager, Parkes Shire Council, PO Box 337, Parkes NSW 2870.
Submissions must be received by 5:00 pm on Monday 25th August 2025.
