Cr Cass grew up in the Blue Mountain area of New South Wales before finishing his Higher School Certificate in Taree, New South Wales. Cr Cass left Taree in 2010, moving to Western Sydney, and studying Radio Broadcasting at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School.
After completing his study in 2011, Cr Cass took a position with Parkes Broadcasting 2PK and ROK FM, relocating to our Shire. He has continued to work across media before moving to the education and not-for-profit sector.
Cr Cass now manages the Country Universities Centre located in the Parkes Shire Library Complex on Bogan Street and supports over 60 students in their higher education journeys.
Married to Mikaela, they have two sons, Oliver and Cooper. Cr Cass is excited to continue the exceptional work the Parkes Shire has made toward economic growth and vibrancy while keeping families and youth at the forefront of future conversations surrounding our Shire.
