Parkes Shire Council Launches Free Online Grant Finder Platform

Community groups and businesses in the Parkes Shire will be able to find grants more easily with the launch of a free funding platform on the Parkes Shire Council website.

Parkes Shire Council has joined forces with Australia’s most powerful grant search engine, GrantGuru, to simplify the process of finding a grant and deliver a free and easy to use website.

All you need to do is register on the Parkes Shire Grant Finder (grantguru.com) site to give you access to the 364 community grants worth $28.5 billion currently available.

Parkes Shire Council's Mayor, Neil Westcott, said the platform will be a valuable tool for our community, simplifying the process of finding and applying for grants.

"We are committed to supporting our local businesses and community groups, and this initiative will help them navigate the process of finding grants," said Mayor Westcott.

Community Information Sessions:

The Parkes Shire Council grants team will be holding two community drop-in sessions to introduce the new search engine and help community members to get registered on the website.

When: Friday, 8 March at 8am and Friday, 15th March at 12pm and 1pm.

Where: Parkes Shire Committee Room (adjacent to Council front desk)

Optional: Bring your own device if you want us to set up your registration at the drop-in session.
