Council wishes to advise that bridge construction and road works are to be undertaken along East Street, Parkes, between May Street and Woodward Street. The works are being undertaken under Councils successful Fixing Local Roads grant.
Council intends to conduct the works from Monday 21 August 2023 to Tuesday 30 April 2024 from 7:00am to 5:00pm, weather permitting.
The road will be under a full closure during this period to facilitate the construction period. Pedestrian access along East Street will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.
Residents and businesses are requested to exercise caution at all times when around the work area and to follow the instructions of Traffic Control staff on site.
