Harrowvale - The Future Of Housing For Parkes Assured

At a time when pessimism seems the norm, I have never been more optimistic about the future of Parkes. Accordingly, I am pleased to advise that Parkes Shire Council has recently purchased the 330-hectare property Harrowvale, to commence designing a future residential suburb.

Parkes Shire Council is pleased to announce that the results of the recent local government elections have now been officially declared. The final results were published on the Electoral Commission's website after the distribution of preferences.

Declaration of Poll - 2024 Local Government Election

Parkes Shire Council is pleased to announce that the results of the recent local government elections have now been officially declared. A total of 10,575 electors were enrolled, with 9,055 votes cast, representing a voter turnout of just under 86%. Of these, 8,441 were formal votes, while 614, or 6.78%, were declared informal. The quota that each of the 32 candidates needed to reach to be elected

Notice of Works: Western Sewer Augmentation - Hartigan Avenue, Parkes

Parkes Shire Council has contracted Chiverton Pty Ltd TA Thompsons Irrifab to undertake sewer construction works along Hartigan Avenue from Armstrong Street to London Road, Parkes
These works are scheduled to commence the week of 30 September 2024 and are expected to be completed by January 2025.
