Applications Open For The Community Financial Assistance Program

Parkes Shire Council is inviting local not-for-profit and community-based organisations to apply for funding through Round 1 of the 2025/2026 Community Financial Assistance Program, which opened 9am Tuesday 1 July 2025, and closes at 5pm on Monday 28 July 2025.

$22.9 Million Pipeline Rebuild To Boost Water Security In Parkes Shire

Parkes Shire Council has welcomed a major funding announcement made on Tuesday 1 July, with $22.9 million committed by the NSW Government to rebuild and reconfigure the Lake Endeavour water pipeline, reinstating long-term water security for the region.

Council Awards $10,000 in Cultural Grants to Two Local Groups

Parkes Shire Council is pleased to announce the community groups successful in securing a Parkes Shire Council Cultural Grant. The recipients, awarded a total of $10,000, are the Parkes Community Arts and the Peak Hill Pastoral Agricultural and Horticultural Association. The awards were announced at a ceremony on 1 July 2025, at the Parkes Shire Council Chambers.
