Council Named Finalist At IPWEA Australasia Excellence Awards

Parkes Shire Council has been recognised among the top three projects in Australasia in the category Best Public Works Project Under $2.0 million at the prestigious IPWEA Australasia Excellence Awards. Council’s innovative Galing Gindhay - Water Play Space project was selected as a finalist, highlighting the project’s outstanding design, delivery and community impact.

Multiple Upgrades Completed On The Bogan Way

A series of major upgrades to The Bogan Way are complete, transforming more than 25 kilometres of this vital regional freight route and significantly improving safety and access across the Parkes Shire.
