Construction Begins On Graddle Creek Bridge Project

Parkes Shire Council is pleased to announce that on-site works are now commencing on the long-awaited Graddle Creek Bridge project along The McGrane Way, following a comprehensive process of land acquisition, design, and approvals.

Parkes Shire Council wishes to advise of the following current road closures throughout the Parkes Shire.

Temporary Footpath Closure – North of Northparkes Oval

On display until 23 October 2025

Parkes Shire Council advises that the footpath running north of Northparkes Oval, from Alexandra Street, will be temporarily closed to allow for essential construction works as part of the Croaker Basin project, funded under the Resources for Regions Round 9 program.

Proposed Trial Removal of Heavy Vehicle Operating Restrictions
