Temporary Footpath Closure: PAC Park

On display until 04 May 2026

Council wishes to advise that the PAC Park footpath between Butler Lane and Park Street will be closed to facilitate restoration works as part of the PAC Park Restoration Project.

Notification of Works - Back Yamma Road, Parkes

Council wishes to advise that a temporary road closure will be in place to facilitate stormwater and culvert works along Back Yamma Road, Parkes.

Parkes Shire Council is inviting community feedback on proposed names for the new wetlands site currently under development on Akuna Road. This consultation period runs until 5:00 PM on 6 March 2025, and we encourage residents to share their thoughts.

Have Your Say - Bushman's Dam Flood Repair Project

Submissions closing on 24 March 2026, 10:00 AM

Council is seeking community feedback on the Community Asset Program 2024 - Bushman’s Dam Flood Repair Project. The project will deliver long-lasting improvements to better manage future rain events that Bushman’s Dam has previously been unable to accommodate, while also enhancing the area’s appearance.

Proposed Road Renaming - Marta Lane and a section of Foothills Lane

Submissions closing on 25 March 2026, 10:00 AM

Council has received a request to consider the renaming of two local roads in Bogan Gate to better reflect property names and long-standing family associations within the area. Following receipt of the request, Council is undertaking community engagement and consultation with local residents and relevant community associations to seek feedback on the proposed road renaming changes.
