Welcome to Central West Childcare Services, proudly delivered by Parkes Shire Council.

Choosing an early childhood education service is an important decision, and we are delighted to be part of your child's learning journey.

Through Central West Family Day Care and Bangala-la Preschool, we provide safe, inclusive and nurturing environments where children can learn, grow and thrive. Our experienced and dedicated educators deliver high-quality early learning programs that support each child's development, wellbeing and sense of belonging.

As a not-for-profit community service, Central West Childcare Services offers flexible early childhood education and care options for children from birth to 12 years of age. Families can choose from home-based education and care provided by registered Family Day Care educators, or our purpose-built preschool environment for children aged 2.5 to 5 years.

We are committed to creating positive early learning experiences that support children, families and our community.

Central West Family Day Care

Parkes Shire Council operates the Central West Family Day Care Scheme, which provides preschool, family day care, out-of-hours care and school holiday care to children aged zero to 12.

Bangala-La Preschool

Bangala-la preschool is a Council-run center that caters for children 3-5 years of age and focuses on preparing those children for school.

Child Safe Organisation

Parkes Shire Council is committed to being a child safe organisation by embedding the NSW Child Safe Standards into its organisation leadership, governance and culture, and practices across the Shire.
