Central West Children's Services

Parkes Shire Council proudly delivers quality, inclusive child services through Central West Family Day Care and Bangala-la Preschool. Together, these services support children from birth to 12 years, offering early learning, family day care, and out-of-hours care, while helping young children build confidence and prepare for school.

Central West Family Day Care

Parkes Shire Council operates the Central West Family Day Care Scheme, which provides preschool, family day care, out-of-hours care and school holiday care to children aged zero to 12.

Bangala-La Preschool

Bangala-la preschool is a Council-run center that caters for children 3-5 years of age and focuses on preparing those children for school.

Child Safe Organisation

Parkes Shire Council is committed to being a child safe organisation by embedding the NSW Child Safe Standards into its organisation leadership, governance and culture, and practices across the Shire.
