Road Closures

Parkes Shire Council wishes to advise of the following current road closures throughout the Parkes Shire.

Temporary Road Closure - Dalton Street and Court Street, Parkes

On display until 07 September 2026

Parkes Shire Council wishes to advise the temporary road closures to facilitate the installation of the FlagTrax Street Flag Display System.

The FlagTrax system allows street flags and pole banners to be installed, removed, and changed safely from ground level, eliminating the need for elevated work platforms and improving safety and efficiency for maintenance activities.

Temporary Road Closure Extension - Rose Street, Parkes

Parkes Shire Council advises that the temporary road closure of Rose Street has been further extended due to inclement weather, following the previous extension to Friday, 13 August 2026.
