Aspiring young actors from across the region are invited to attend the Mock Crash Auditions.
Actors will hear about the program, take part in acting exercises (on film and ab-libbing), as well as undertake road crash rescue training to see what it's like to be cut out of a car and moved onto a casualty board.
Young drivers are over-represented in crashes. This program aims to reduce the number of crashes that involve young drivers by showing them what can and does happen on the road and educate them about safe behaviours as drivers and passengers.
The live mock crash demonstration is at Parkes High School on Monday 17 August 2026. The program also includes pre and post classroom lessons.
