Bill Tink, NetWaste’s Environmental Learning Advisor, is excited to present this years Waste 2 Art theme ‘Shrink Your Footprint’. In this presentation you will learn all about your Waste Footprint and the many ways we can reduce the amount of waste we produce. Bill’s presentation will provide examples of artworks by a range of artists who have turned waste materials into works of art! Get inspired by past examples of winners from Waste 2 Art and international examples of artworks made from materials that would otherwise end up in landfill.

Find out how you will ‘Shrink Your’ Waste 2 Art ‘Footprint’ in 2026 by making sure your Waste 2 Art entry fits into a shoebox. This size restriction, in place for 2026 only, will allow us to easily transport the winners to Broken Hill for the Regional Finals. The smaller scale of the artworks created for Waste 2 Art in 2026 will allow entrants to focus on the finer details of their works. Bill will answer any of your Waste 2 Art questions, get you inspired for this year’s theme and show you some terrific examples of artworks, techniques and approaches that will assist you in making a terrific entry for Waste 2 Art in 2026.
