Integrated Planning and Reporting

The integrated process of planning with and reporting to our community.

Parkes Shire Council develops strategic plans in consultation with the community and reports on the progress in achieving its objectives.

Council must plan effectively and report its results to ensure all Council activities and decisions are transparent and accountable to the community.

The decisions of Council are based on the community's aspirations, needs, values and priorities so Council actively pursues community input into the planning and reporting process.

Planning and reporting to the community includes strategic planning, operational plan, workforce plan, financial plans, asset management and local environmental plan.
