Access up-to-date information on road closures, floods, fires, and other weather emergencies affecting the Parkes Shire.
Parkes Garden Club meets at 2pm on the second Saturday of each month in various gardens in the local area. At least one out of town excursion is organised each year. Garden successes and problems are discussed at the meetings followed by a delicious afternoon tea. Flower and vegetable competitions are held for members each month with annual awards presented at the Christmas party.
