2026 Parkes Christmas Carnival

Next date: Saturday, 05 December 2026 | 05:00 PM

Celebrate the festive season at the Parkes Christmas Carnival, a fun-filled community event for the whole family.

Enjoy live entertainment, performances by local schools and community groups, market stalls, activities for children and plenty of festive fun in the heart of Parkes. Bringing together service clubs, community organisations, local businesses and volunteers, the Christmas Carnival is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the spirit of the season with family, friends and the wider community.

Please note: Due to changes to the parade route and reduced community participation, the Christmas Parade will not be held in 2026. The Christmas Carnival will continue as planned, with a fantastic program of entertainment, stalls and family-friendly activities.

Date: Sunday 13 December 2026
Time: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Location: Cooke Park, Parkes

This event is proudly supported by Parkes Shire Council through the 2026 Events Financial Assistance Program (EFAP), supporting community-led events that celebrate and strengthen our vibrant communities.
