Come along, connect and celebrate our community!

Connect the Dots is a community project to enhance social cohesion, bringing people together and helping everyone feel welcome in Parkes. Connected communities are strong communities, and we want to celebrate everyone who makes Parkes Shire their home.               

Join us at Kelly Reserve for a free morning of live music, drumming, games and plenty of opportunities to get involved. Enjoy performances from local musicians and community groups, join in the fun and finish the morning with a sausage sizzle.

What’s happening

Enjoy performances and activities throughout the morning, including Gracey Denham-Jones, the Parkes Shire Concert Band, Rob Shannon, the Fijian Choir, Parkes Community Choir and Ukulele Group, Tapestry, Molly Moon and Heart Beat Drumming with Kitty Stitt.

Children and adults will have a laugh and test their coordination skills with giant games, and get their energy back with a sausage sizzle!

Everyone is welcome – bring your family and friends and come along to Connect the Dots!
